In the past people like Josh Bender put a 24 inch rear wheel because it's more stronger than a 26 inch , so how can a 29 replace in downhill the 26 inch ??? In my opinion the 29" can replace the 26" only if there will be more spokes and each spoke should be at least 3mm diameter .
